Our Services

Woodlands Care Centre provides specialist nursing care to adults over the age of 50. Our highly trained and committed staff provide personalised health care to deliver the best outcomes for our residents.

Located in pleasant surrounding with its own private landscaped garden and patio area, the home is two-story building with 4 person lift giving easy access to all rooms. A hoist assisted bathroom and shower wet-room provide a selection of bathing options. There are two T.V. lounges and a separate dining room/conservatory offer a variety of relaxing areas.

Bedrooms There are 24 bedrooms furnished to a high standard. 12 rooms have en-suite toilet facility. Residents may bring personal items to decorate their rooms to retain a home-from-home feeling. Each room is lockable, with a lockable bedside drawer, and has a nurse call system which connects to a central alert panel – one on each floor.

Short Stay Respite Care We offer short term respite care when a room is available.

Catering All our meals are freshly home cooked on the premises. We work a 28 day cycling menu to ensure good variety is offered with a choice of main meal. Our residents are consulted and actively involved in creating our menus. We offer a choice of cooked breakfast, a 2 course dinner at lunch time, a substantial tea-time meal and a light supper. Hot and cold drinks and snacks are served throughout the day. Whilst we have a pre-planned dinner menu, we accommodate personal dietary requirements and preferences.
